Assist Media app for iPhone and iPad

!! Important note !! Please delete the existing version manually before installing the new app version. The Assist Media App works exclusively with TV sets based on Chassis SL1xx and SL2xx. For TV sets with Chassis SL3xx please use Smart tv2move App.

The Loewe Assist Media App for your iPad: it’s as if they were made for each other – control and programme your Loewe TV with just the swipe of a finger. Browse through the iPad electronic programme guide, save favourites and launch instant recording.


The highlights:

Premium integrated programme guide (EPG):
- provides an immediate overview of what’s currently on
- provides wide-ranging and detailed information on individual programmes
- switches to the desired channel with a single click
- provides guidance via recommendations from the editorial team

DR+ – recording and archiving:
- record programmes onto your Loewe TV’s integrated hard drive (DR+ archive) as they are broadcast with One Touch Recording
- set your DR+ to record future programmes via the EPG
- select and start DR+ recordings on the TV via the Assist Media app
- stream DR+ recordings within the home network on a Loewe TV

Your own favourite channels:
A remote control like no other – store your very own favourites to the Assist Media App dashboard, so that your personal highlights are always available.

MediaNet:
- all content and offers on the Loewe MediaNet are easy and convenient to access via iPad
- MediaNet provides exclusive access to information portals, online music and video services (e.g. VideoNet, Aupeo, Tunein radio) and communication channels (e.g. Facebook and Twitter).

The Loewe Assist Media App is so much more than a remote control: interacting with your TV is made captivatingly quick and easy – intuitive, customisable and exclusive.

The application is compatible with all Loewe LED TVs (chassis SL1xx & SL2xx), combined or stand-alone, and is compliant with software version 7.14 or higher (SL1x)/ all versions for SL2xx. It is currently only possible to use Assist Media in combination with digital transmitters/transmitter sources.

Installation of the app in just a few steps:

1. The requirements for operating the app: Loewe TV set with chassis SL1xx or SL2xx. Please use the TV software version 7.14 or higher (SL1x)/ all versions for SL2xx. Relevant information can be found in the subject index under TV features (SL1xx)/ in extras under special functions (SL2xx).

2. Please ensure that your Apple iPad and the Loewe TV set are registered in the same logical network. The network settings for SL1xx can be found by clicking MEDIA - MENU; for SL2xx go to system settings - network - network settings.

3. Please check your DR+ streaming settings. Sharing the DR+ archive of TVs within the network has to be enabled. To go there, please enter your DR+ archive and click the menu button (SL1xx)/ system settings – control - more - DR+ and DR+ streaming (SL2xx).

4. Please start the Assist Media App. The application will automatically search for compatible TVs in the home network. A list of Loewe TVs in the home network will appear. Please select the required TV. Simply tap the correct list entry.

5. Once you have selected a TV, the displayed menu will close and the name of the selected TV will now appear on the lower left-hand border of the Assist Media app.

6. The loading process of all data (channel list, EPG) starts automatically and can take up to six minutes. During this process, you can look through the menu entries in the app for a few initial impressions. Once all of the data has been loaded, the app is fully ready for use.
